Artist and researcher based between Karlsruhe, Germany, and Hangzhou, China. Working across photography, moving image, installation, performance, publishing, and artist’s books, her practice attends to what is often overlooked, displaced, or left at the margins of perception.
Beginning with everyday spaces, found objects, documents, images, and other fragmentary materials, she explores how meaning emerges through processes of observation, collection, and recontextualisation within shifting cultural contexts. Her work considers how the ordinary, the peripheral, and the background can be brought into focus, becoming sites through which less visible narratives, temporalities, and relationships may unfold.
